Baked Chicken Breasts


  • boneless skinless chicken breasts, trimmed of any nasty bits
  • your favorite salad dressing or sauce*

*some suggestions: vinaigrette, barbecue sauce, ranch dressing, tahini dressing, pesto


  1. Preheat oven to 400F.
  2. Meanwhile, pierce the chicken breasts several times with a fork, then coat in sauce and let it rest 15 min or until the oven is preheated. (if you want, you can marinate the chicken up to several hours before cooking, or even overnight)
  3. If you are using whole breasts, bake for 20 min. If your breasts are butterflied or thin cut, bake for 10 minutes.
